How Things Wrap Up in 2011.
This year I decided that Christmas was going to be glam meets nature. I don't know why, but I've been loving bright ass magenta lately. I have always been a secret fan of hot pink, but I thought it would be fun to do for the holidays.
I think the sputnik is to blame. We will see if I get it all done. I'm kind of famous in my own mind for having a ton of plans of what I'm going to do and getting everything wrapped and decorated right before Christmas. I love wrapping gifts, but it would be better if I got to enjoy the wrapping a bit longer.
I already bought the hen feathers from this seller on etsy. I love them. She let's you say exactly what you want and they got here super quick. I made some stamps, but I have to go out and get a gold stamp pad. I bought a light color craft style paper from Ikea early in the season because believe it or not I ran out of paper last year. It felt like a grand accomplishment.

ReplyDeleteI always love your wrapping inspiration Desi.I won't have many boxes to wrap this year b/c I'm giving mostly jars....maybe I'll just wrap empty boxes for fun!
ReplyDeleteThat hot pink tagging ribbon is hanging on my wall right now. I'll send you a photo.
Those feathers are killer. Can you wrap all my gifts for me?
